The Internet and social media have made everybody a curator. We express personal profiles and share thoughts and opinions on literally anything. The Curate Award, a collaboration between the Prada Foundation and the Qatar Museums Authority, calls for submissions to find and showcase the creative spirit that comes with that movement. Judges such as Rem Koolhaas and Hans Ulrich Obrist will evaluate the works’ creativity and social significance before a public voting will vote the winner. 20 finalists will be exhibited in Italy and Qatar.
Aspiring curators are encouraged to create a two-minute video proposing their ideas and concepts. The competition is open to everyone and you can submit your work on the Curator Award website. The cheeky promo video may give you some inspiration. Watch it below.
